Speaking of buses, I rode the bus today. 50 years ago, I would have been riding them just to ride them, especially if I could find an Old Look. Today, though, they have no appeal. I only ride to get somewhere. Sure miss that "Screamin' Jimmy" Diesel winding out and waiting for that satisfying "clunk" when it shifted into high gear!

I have not ridden a bus (it was a NABI) in over 9 years; the last time was when I was coming home from visiting Mom in a rehab center, after surgery.

NO APPEAL for me, whatsoever; it was like riding in a giant MILK CARTON! Razz

And, to think, in my much younger years, I can even remember PREWAR buses! Shocked

Man, I miss the old days, when BUSES were BUSES! Very Happy

Good video unfortunately the scenes from 1940 and 1950 was colorized so the bus colors are all wrong.
