Here we have "INTER-COUNTY MOTOR COACH" Fishbowl #158, sunning itself at the company's garage, back in 1982.

Note that, years after the "Tee-Yay"/"Em-Tee-Yay" abolished the use of ad racks behind the rear wheels, "I-CMC" was still using them.............

In this bygone "group" scene from 1971, "Sherman" #7105 indeed is the "oddball" (Merrick & 90th)

All too soon, veterans such as #7105 would be put out to pasture........

Here's an (undated) photo of "Borough Bomber" #647 "under the lights" of an unidentified garage; the cigarette ad dates this photo as much as #647 itself.

How brief was the era of the "Bombers" in the city........and what a complex, tangled corporate boondoggle ensured when these boxy buses began falling apart on the streets, when still new.............

And a year before it was transferred to the 126th Street garage in Manhattan where, one summer's day in 1969, it made a run on another #1 - the Madison/Chambers line, today's M22 . . .
