WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! Shocked Shocked Shocked

Talk about the MASTERPIECE that even the great Da Vinci could not paint!!!!!! Shocked Shocked

Never saw this photo before; though, during the 1960's, Mom and I were frequent visitors to the old CNJ terminal in Jersey City (pre-Aldene) and I can still clearly remember an elderly CNJ conductor pointing out to us the remains of the B&O bus turntable; sadly, I missed the B&O bus/ferry operation by only several years. Sad

The "sedan doors" on the buses gave them an added touch of "class", MOST appropriate for the elegant B&O rail services of the day........

Agreed!
That's an awesome find!

When I get back to NYC, I'll try to remember to dig up my old Reading Trailways cap badge, and add it to this thread...
It is a National Trailways shield, with Reading Trailways in the banner, and a smaller Reading Lines diamond shape and badge number stamped in the bottom part...
It is silver, with black, red, yellow, and white enamel...very colorful...

BTW:

From what I have read, Jim Lehrer has what is supposed to be the largest collection of bus memorabilia in the States; his collection includes hundreds of cap badges, bus station signs....you name it! Shocked

Lucky guy......... Wink
