Had a big surprise when I came out of the Subway at Forest Hills, yesterday...an articulated on the Q-64...
Another passenger told me he saw one on the route a few weeks ago.
It didn't take long for the Queens College bound rider's to notice, and plug their phones into the overhead USB receptacle's.... |

Yes...thanks from me, too....I wonder how those things handle the snow?
Better or worse than straight bus? |

A saying that's developing is that Arctic weather is especially rough on artic' buses. |

Yeah...I kind of thought so...I suppose the seal's between the section's may have an insulation issue in extreme cold, especially as the bus ages...
And like a semi-truck, they may have a tendency to jack-knife, when brakes are applied on icy roads...? |
