Gentlemen:

In my day, the "locals" would refer to this long-established bus company as "The Red Bus"; their Old Looks were particular handsome in their red coats, black striping, and gold lettering.

Oddly, on bus.nycsubway.org. there are no photos at all of the buses of this company, though there are a number showing the buses of other old Jersey City-area "indies".

Does anyone have any photos of the old "Red Bus" fleet?

It has now been several decades since I saw a "traditional" M&WS bus; surely some bus fan snapped at least some photos......somehow, I never got around to taking any photos myself, except one or two I took at the old garage, back in the 80's, which I have not seen in ages.

According to this Wikipedia link, the company is also known as the "A&C BUS CORPORATION" (see following link; photo shows an RTS)

The last "Red Bus" I rode was an Old Look, too many years ago to count now.

Also, would appreciate any fleet info, from the 60's through the 70's.

Thanks in advance for any and all input.....

AFAIK, the last traditional "Red Bus" I saw was a derelict Fishbowl, in the yard outside of the Danforth Avenue garage, nearly 30 years ago.

I have seen several historical Jersey City photos where a M&WS bus can be seen, but, as of yet, no online photos showing the buses themselves.

Surely, some bus fan back then took at least a few photos......

Though no M&WS buses are seen in these vintage views, the colorful days of the Jersey City-area "indies" are nostagicaly recalled here.

So much has changed since those days......

A&C is lumped in with M&WS in the BusTalk Galleries: http://gallery.bustalk.info/thumbnails.php?album=131

Let me know if this is incorrect and I'll split them.
