Wish I had one of them now. Don't remember ever seeing that set.

Not that I need one, but I want one just on the principal.

I wonder how many of these kits are still in existence and how much they would go for on E-Bay?

There were 3 things that got me into the bus hobby a very long time ago:
1. Toys: As a little kid, I had die cast Tootsietoy Greyhound Scenicruisers and several inexpensive plastic GM PD4104's, on the sides of which were marked in orange crayon scribble "Queens Transit Corp." and "Q25/34", "Q65" or "Q65A". (No, QTC never had any such units on their roster, but imagine what kind of a ride it would have been in one of these parlor buses, headed down Jewel Avenue to the IND subway in Forest Hills ).
2. Maps: Each week, I would send a stamped self addressed envelope to TA's Surface Headquarters at 1 Jamaica Avenue in East New York, requesting a different set of bus maps. (Back then, the borough bus maps we take for granted today were not ready for public distribution.) Eventually I managed to collect most of them, but then for some reason I got rid of them
3, Manuals: I wrote to GM and Flxible requesting bus operator manuals, and each company sent me some free of charge. I have added many more of these over the years, but those old GM and Flx manuals are still some of my favorites.
