Gentlemen:

Years ago, I remember two NJ bus companies that seemed to be around forever; one was DROGIN and one was BINETTI.

If my memory serves me correctly, both were Jersey City based outfits (I think that BINETTI was a charter company)

AFAIK, BINETTI went out of business long ago; and were DROGIN's routes taken over by NJT?

Also, I know that RED & TAN became part of COACH USA quite awhile ago; is the old R&T name still used at all, or has itself become a "fallen flag"?

Thanks in advance for any info you might have on these companies....

"NYO"

Not positive, but I believe Red and Tan was absorbed into Rockland Coaches, also a division of Coach USA/Stagecoach.... http://www.coachusa.com/rockland/

traildriver:

Thank you!

I see that I was correct, in associating R&T with COACH USA.

Now.....hope I can get some good info on DROGIN!

It appears that Drogin is still in business.

Jimmy:

Man!!

This one really blew blew me away........had NO idea that DROGIN was still around; I thought for sure that they had joined the ranks of "Fallen Flags" many years ago.

Thanks for your "detective work"! Wink
