The relationship of the Newtown Creek to NYC buses is at best tangential (that waterway is crossed by the B24 twice, the B62 and the Q59; 2 of its tributaries are crossed by the Q53 and Q67; the Grand Avenue CMF is within 1-2 blocks of it). From the standpoints of marine transportation, NYC history and environmental preservation, the creek looms large.
