I haven't been on the Q10 in years, so yesterday I waited at Jamaica Avenue for a JFK-bound trip. Recently, the line has become all-articulated, and the Spring 2014 public schedule shows about eleven to fifteen trips hourly. After maybe ten minutes, 5415 showed up, signed Q10 LIMITED. I found a seat in the back and counted six standees, all other seats taken. New Flyer built 5415 in 1999-2000, and according to Wikipedia it is about to be retired.

From Liberty Avenue south, the crowd dwindled. A dozen were on board at North Conduit Avenue. More got off at the convenient and fare-free AirTrain stop named Lefferts Blvd. We made local stops along 130th Place, delivering workers, then ran directly to the layover spot at Terminal 5, only three on board. I explored the long "Skywalk" moving walkway to JetBlue.

Routes B15 and Q3 also end at T5. My AirTrain return to Jamaica was crowded and cost $5.
