Here is an unknown GM PD-4101 serving as a television camera platform. Many of these “retired” intercity buses wound up at television stations as mobile production/control rooms for cameras. Miami’s WTVJ had an ex-Greyhound Silverside. Some ACF-Brill IC-41 were converted. But by far the most popular were Flxible Clippers.

By the way, just In case anyone is interested that is an RCA TK-11 black and white camera on the roof.

Nice photos of the TV units. WLW Television, which owned the IC41, was/is in Cincinnati.

Another Silverside was used for many years by WGBH, the public television station in Boston. A Flxible Clipper used by a TV station in Dallas has been restored, I believe. If I recall correctly, that one was built to be a TV bus from the start.

Thanks for posting these.
