Even though the bus in this clip is not a NYC bus, the fact that the bus itself is 100% electric fits well here - for those willing to spend 18 very interesting and educational minutes along with host Jay Leno. Educational in the sense that many aspects of the bus is explained and gives a better idea of how electric buses differ from their fossil fuel counterparts. Included in the clip is a ride around town with host Jay Leno doing the driving.

The bus in question is Foothill Transit's (Cal) Proterro Ecoline Electric Bus which is current in revenue service. The clip is from the Jay Leno's Garage online series and well worth the time.
