My nickname Shorty is because I'm so very tall, a shade under five ft. I work as a taxi dispatcher here in Phoenix,Az and accidently became interested in buses.
I ride Valley Metro here very often, and have gotten to know a few of the drivers, and I've got a lot of respect for what they have to put up with. I am impressed with how they handle these buses through all the crazy street construction we have going on, they make it look so easy! |

Thank you for the welcome here.
I'm from Queens origianlly, and my first memory of bus riding was a New Look, dark green in color. It's been 47 years since I've moved here, so my NYC memories are rather faded to say the least |

Shorty,
Welcome aboard!
Just surf our site and I'm sure a lot of those faded memories of Queens 47 years ago will be will be jogged back into clearer focus.
We take great pride in our collection of historic photos along with the many stories of the 'golden age' of transportation especially in the New York metropolitan area.
Again, welcome - and enjoy!
Mr. Linsky
