I heard this morning that Gerald Squier passed away. He was a great transit and bus fan. He will be greatly missed. |

buslist,
I would certainly second your kindness toward the memory of Gerald Squier who was a leader in the preservation of the history of bus transportation in the U.S.
In the many times over the years that I personally looked to Gerry for advice and assistance, he never flinched for a moment in his avid attempts to help me - and I'll always remember him for that!
May his soul rest in peace.

Sad news indeed.
Mr. Squier was an excellent writer, as he had co-authored (with John McKane) Welcome Aborad the GM New Look Bus.
May he rest in peace. |
