MUX electrical systems had a major impact on the complexity of bus wiring and switchgear.
Evidence of this in the transit bus category can be seen in the late model Nova RTS-06's with a single LH switch panel (as compared with earlier RTS-04's and -06's from GM, Nova and TMC with both LH and RH switch panels.)
