Now that I have all my ducks in a row, we can get started!

Taken sometime in 1980 at the company's Victory Avenue facility adjacent to the 69th. Street Transportation Center in the Philadelphia suburb of Upper Darby, Pennsylvania is fleet # 250 - a 1959 GM Coach Model TDH 5106 and one of three likenesses numbered 250 to 252 operating for the South Eastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority's (SEPTA) Red Arrow Line.

# 250 (top image) and siblings started life with Green Bus Lines, Inc. of Jamaica, New York and were sold off prematurely to SEPTA in 1966 to make way for an influx of GM new looks.

It appears as though # 250 is at the end of its days with SEPTA as evidenced by the already cannibalized windshield wiper blades, and I would like to know what 'brain-trust' removed the GM Badge and wings from under the windshield instead of just placing SEPTA's monogram between the headlights?

Seen in the center photo is fleet number 155 dressed in Green Line garb and representative of what # 250 appeared as originally.

Not all three of SEPTA's inherited Green Liners bit the dust as can be seen with a refurbished # 251 enjoying its third life with the Indiana University of Pennsylvania (bottom).

Of note is that fact that someone with a brain restored the GM decoration under the windshield.
