I just received the postcard reminding me of the 19th Annual Bus Festival of the N. Y. Transit Museum. Location: Boerum Place, Brooklyn, between State Street and Atlantic Avenue, in conjunction with the Atlantic Antic, a street fair that brings in crowds. Time: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Free admission, too, to the transit museum downstairs one block away.
---
The post card shows a line-up of eight buses. If I read their numbers correctly with a magnifying glass:
New Look 1059.
3100 in Fifth Avenue colors.
2969, Old Look.
8466, New Look, with big ears (what's the name for those ads?)
Jamaica 3856 RTS.
9098 Old Look
100 New Look
Green Lines 10001 RTS.
---
Since the photo was taken a previous year, I presume there is no promise of attendance of each one.
---
Are all of these GM's.?

Jamaica Bus 3856 was built by TMC (the RTS being a GMC design, of course).
The 'big ears' on 8466 was called the 'Bus-O-Rama' by sign manufacturer Trans-Sign, but are also called 'Batwings' by bus enthusiasts.
