I'm a bus fan here in Phoenix, Az, and just when I figured out Nabi's, RTS, and New Flyers fleet numbers, I saw an oddball RTS, it was painted white, without the Valley Metro colors, and unlike the RTS's with the 4400 numbers, this one was 65XX.
I'm curious as to what this is and why?

| Shorty, there used to be someone at the old BusTalk who could probably answer your question. I don't know but have seen several of those white "flat front" RTS's in Mesa on the express bus on McKellips as well as heading somewhere at rush hour on the 202. I think I had read that they are leased buses so maybe not a permanent part of the fleet. (If "permanent" means anything in these days of short-lived buses.) |
