* Note in one downtown view; deck-roof streetcar appears to be an ex-TARS unit......

Much impressed with this UNIV OF SAN DIEGO work. Here, the few views of transit rolling stock merely incidental.
"Old Timers" here should recall all the rest of it. So typical of so many locales throughout the US!

Indeed, the few "transit" images easily represent "Anywhere, USA", during the War years.......old and new streetcars and modern YELLOWS not only date these historical old views, but also, serve to remind us of "the way it was", during that era.....
