SIGH! In the bulletin, "...Bus rapid transit service, which has been planned for several years, would build
on existing bus service and provide an interim step toward light-rail service..."
Surely, they are trying to avoid appearances of clueless, but... Just get some new coaches, and run them!

Unless handled properly, BRT could well become the next transit boondoggle. |

Q65A -
Read up on it! The craziness is coming home to roost...
All BRT takes is: Some new coaches (actually, even older ones will do). Longer distances between selected stops
(same as Limited or Express schedules in the Bad, Old Days). Some traffic paint. Some new signs at the stops.
Now, is that so hard to understand? Oh, no! Now that is is Blessed by folks above our pay grades, it requires a
huge dog and pony show to even think about it! When it doubt, make a boondoggle out of it!
True story! Stuff is so over the top, I can't make it up!
