As far as I can tell they still run GM fishbowls in Toronto and Saskatoon to this very day. Not sure where else though.

Check out the lean on TTC 2402, an '82 (or '83) model!

And you can ride a '78 fishbowl in revenue service in Saskatoon today!

So, that's why I, a United States citizen, thought I'd say Happy Canada Day to our fellow bus nerds up north in America's Hat. Smile

dsevil,

There are GM New Looks very much alive and still kicking doing cruise connection work in Alaska as can be seen below at dockside in Skagway.

Pictured in May 2009 is fleet # 830 - a T8H 5307A and one of a number operating for Royal Hyway Tours of Anchorage Alaska.

These completely rebuilt buses are used only during the summer season and are stored for the winters in Seattle so it's a good bet that they'll still be around for a long time to come.

BTW; the lady sitting in a wheelchair at the very bottom left of the frame and patiently waiting for me to finish taking my pictures is my now deceased wife.

Regards,

Mr. 'L'
