Inter-County had at least two (2) Eagles in May 1969. My HS class rode these buses to Washington DC over Memorial Day week on our senior class trip. One had major AC problems. Do not remember the model of the Eagles. This was my first and only time riding in an Eagle. I remember the ride was very bouncy. |

Thanks Jimbo. I had stumbed across a slide someone was sell on ebay yesterday. The photo was taken in Virginia in 1968. The person who is selling the slide said it was a Silver Eagle 01, and was numbered 201. |

The suburban is the only bus that I haven't placed on any list, only because nothing seems to be known about the bus except that someone thought that it might have been from a company in New Jersey. I believe I have added all the Harran buses that have been shown in the galleries, though if I have missed one someone let me know. |

S-60 To Smith Haven Mall, take note; Inter County Motor Coach
Seen below on charter in Williamsburg, Virginia in July of 1968 is fleet # 201 - a 1964 Silver Eagle Modeled as an 01 operating for Inter County Coach Company of Babylon, New York.
I don't have much else to say except that it is possible that # 201 was ex Trailways but I have no evidence to prove that other than the fact that most Eagles started out that way.
Photo courtesy of '4509bus' and is available at eBay as item # 371090703503.
