There were countless independent small bus companies throughout New Jersey years ago that were not organized as was Newark's Independent Bus Operators Association (IBOA).

Pictured below is fleet number 211 - a 1949 GM Model TDH 3209 and the only such model delivered to the Hambloch Brothers & Company of Caledon, New Jersey in March of that year.

Records show that the company was active in local transit services within Patterson and Passaic Counties early on with its routes probably eventually being absorbed by New Jersey Transit.

The GM Model TDH 3209 was produced only in 1949 and signaled the end of the manufacturer's small heavy duty coach line which was subsequently replaced by the lighter version 35 passenger HydraMatics with gasoline or Diesel truck engines.
