Started my report shift at 5pm. First assignment was to fill in for an Anaheim based operator whom got sick on his run.

I was given the paddle ... and assiged bus 2227 and finished the assignment on the 53 route.

Touch that cap w/out gloves and your hand is gone

Pulled in at 918pm.

I was on report until 11pm until I had to go relieve an operator that was on the 50 night owl. Hopped in the relief car and drive over to Cal State LB to meet the bus. Turns out she almost ran out of hours for today ( will explain later )

The bus for that assignment was # 2131. This is one of my favorite buses. It has loud brakes and really moves.

The sweet thing about the 50 owl is that u get 53 minutes of layover ( recovery time ) at the Mall of Orange. Arrived at the Mall at 1235am. The only thing thats open is Wal-Mart ... and yes its 24 hrs. So i went in bought some ice cream and a bottle water....and just made the most of my layover





128am. Time to leave the Mall
