NYCT Nova RTS's are still very much alive, but their replacements gradually are being ordered.
That said, I suspect that RTS's will be the subject of ever-greater scrutiny from the bus-fan population in coming months.
I have a couple of questions about NYCT's Nova RTS's:
1. Which order(s) came with a fuel gauge in the front instrument panel?
2. Which order(s) had both left and right hand switch panels?
3. Which order(s) had only left-hand switch panels?
Thanks!!! |

I was able to get an answer to questions #'s 2 & 3:
a. The 1998 Novas (9350-9699) and 1999 Novas (4900-5249) had single left hand switch panels (due to the use of a multiplexed electrical system).
b. All other Nova RTS's (as well as all GMC and TMC RTS's) haad both left and right switch panels. |
