HIstorical record shows that NYCT first put RTS04's to work in the Brooklyn Division (B17) on August 5th, 1981.
During the following 18 years, MTA and/or the PBL's bought nearly (IIRC)5000 RTS's from 3 different manufacturers.
Question: If the RTS-03 demo tried by NYCT had performed better, what might the NYCT/MaBSTOA bus fleet have looked in the late 1970's/early 1980's?
