County executive signed the "Sunday bus service" bill. It is official, Sunday service starting effective July 03, 2011. Fares on the two (2) lines slated for Sunday service (S-92 and 10C) increase to $2.00 effective maybe June 15. Wait until all the riders realize they will be paying the increased fare every day, all year long for the Sunday service.

Did they ever do that survey of riders that Levy wanted done before signing the bill?

I have a question, they only mention about the full fare going up 50 cents. Is the price of a transfer and the fare for the handicap going up as well?

Official word today from Suffolk Transit - regular passenger fares going up to $2.00 effective Friday, June 17, 2011 only on the S-92 and the 10C. There will be no change for students, reduced fare patrons and transfers.
