Photographed in Carbondale, Pa around 1985. This and others like it sat around the old Delaware & Hudson roundhouse, all of which is now long gone. I'd love to know the year and model, and if possible, who the operator was.

Dan,

I can give you some assistance here but first a word from you're sponsor!

Let me take this opportunity to welcome you to BusTalk and say that we look forward to your valued contributions.

The bus is a 'White' and from the number of full passenger windows it would be a Model 788 (the 798 was one window longer).

The anti reflective angled windshield tells me that it was built sometime after 1941 but I haven't a clue as to its history.
