Usually, when I make a presentation on this or any other board, I do so with all facts at hand - this will be one occasion where I will, to some degree, wing it!
Seen clearly below are fleet numbers 102, 104, 106 and 108 belonging to the Autobus Fournier Limitee of Quebec, Canada which had its roots going back to 1925 as a local transit operator in the region.
Because these four buses, which are very obviously GM Old Looks, do not show up as new deliveries to the company, I have to suppose that they may have been purchased used.
However, in the mentioned records, I do see deliveries of five GM Model TDH 4512's numbered 110 to 114 between 1957 and 1959.
I deduce from the pictured group that they are 96 inches wide (the space between both the rear windows and the front floor vents tell me that), that they are post 4507 (the heavy paired window bumpers and the later plastic GM logos tell me that), and that they are post 4509 (the larger round signal lights tell me that).
These deductions leave little doubt that they may well be either 35 foot 4512's or 40 foot 5106's (there is no way to ascertain the length from their position in the photograph).
They could possibly be ex Greyhound as they carry the factory fog lights found on all of that company's Old Looks.
I have no information on the PD 4104 that resides in the same image.

102 is a 1955 TDH-4512, 104 & 106 are 1956 TDH-4512 and 108 is a 1960 TDH-3714.

Kevlaf983,
I just emailed Jim Husing that I had seen those listings, but what threw me were the four digit fleet numbers.
I wonder why they were renumbered from the 5000's to the 100's?
Strange - unless they were switched to another division.
Thanks for sharing the information.

Taking a guess from that roster, they may have renumbered them according to model/manufacturer? (i.e. low 100's for Old Looks, 400's for new looks, etc..) |

Mr "L" -
Have you the contemporary Greyhound rosters? The "56xx" numbers hit me as suspiciously GL... What would be lacking: The leading
(usual suspects) "C", "G" (?), "P" or "R" alpha. (I've mentally ruled out "K" coaches.)

H. H.,
As you can see by the above Auto Bus Fournier roster, which does agree with the Ohio production lists, that the buses were purchased new and that they were originally assigned to the 5000's.
Here is an example of one bus having three different fleet numbers while still in original ownership.
Conversely, Green Line's (NY) 4506's numbered 201 to 210 were purchased originally for the Manhattan and Queens Division - then they became Green Line with the same numbers, and then Jamaica with the same numbers!
So, in other words, number 207 pictured below kept its original fleet number through three companies albeit commonly owned!

Mr. "L" -
Ahh! Thanks! The amazing and thorough Ohio Museum work! I ventured to the site, once again, and easily noted the "C.V." of these coaches...
