Does anyone have any information on the size of the Bangor and Aroostook Railroad's bus fleet and how many of each model they operated? I did find that they bought one MC9, which was the BAR's last bus purchase before giving up the operation. |

I'll see what I can come up with - in the meantime, enjoy!

Jim,
The BAR bus fleet was small at the end, maybe five buses or so. As you stated, the last bus purchased was a new MC-9. That was their only MCI. Everything else was GM. Back in the 50's, they operated Flxible Visicoaches and at least one Crown combo coach.
At the time, BAR sold its bus operation to Cyr, Motor Coach Age carried an article about it along with a final roster. I'll see if I can find that issue.
