|

Yesterday during the PM rush, I was E/B on Hillside Avenue and was stopped behind bus # 1689. It was old Orion. I remember when they were delivered they had a stop-light in between two yellow lights in the back of the bus at about a car driver's eye-level. I thought it odd that the yellows didn't go on when the bus slowed down. When I got close enough, I saw that they were removed and two round pieces of metal put in their place to hide the hole. Then the striping went over them.
When and why did this happen ?
Thanks in advance for any answers. |

This happened about a year ago if i remember correctly. The reason I can come up with is the same reason it was done with the PBL buses at MTA Bus, NYCT don't use that. Everything at LIB will need to be turned the "At Transit" way. |
