CTA B.R.,

Pictured below is fleet # 689 - a 1951 GM Coach model TDH 5103 and one of 100 (601 to 700) originally purchased by the Chicago Motor Coach Company in two seperate orders between 1950 and 1951.

When the Chicago Transit Authority took over Chicago Motor Coach, these buses were transferred to the new operation and apparently retained their original fleet numbers.

Mr "L" -

This a, "...you learn something new every day..." file. Note CSL 597 and 601, shown in "Old Look" cataloging. Described as
Yellow Coach, 1941 product.

I can't say as I recall ever seeing this particular design. Also, wasn't aware why the parade of new production are stated to
have been at Flint, MI. Suggests at least two different sites for build of Yellow Coach product?
