You are correct about PTI's purchases
A review of OMOT's records show
T6H-5306A - 0892 delivered 10/71 bore Fleet Number 806
T6H-5306A - 0893 deliverd 10/71 bore Fleet Number 530.
Why the disparity in the numbering is not known to me. |

Nice catches!
Private Transportation, New York Airport Service, Video Tours, CitySights, etc. are operated under the umbrella of "MCIZ Corp." It just dawned on me what "MCIZ" probably stands for.

NIce to see that the Pearlstein's successor, formerr drvier Jack Marmelstein, kept the corporate name rather than chaning it or forming a new corporation for the takeover. |

It's just speculation on my part. I don't know if that's really what it means or how long it's been the corporate name. |

507 is still active, I saw it on the B110 yesterday along with 505 and 506. So it looks like 515 and 516 replaced 202 and 501. |

Today I decided to jump on the B110 to Williamsburg. Going I rode 507 and coming back I rode 511. Buses 504-507, 510-511 and 515-516 were all on the B110 today. Private Transportation also now operates a new service called the Williamsburg Trolley. The buses on that line were two Gillig Advantage's numbered 512 and 514. 514 is ex-Avis 26. |

Williamsburg Trolley isn't new, but Private only took them over about a year or so ago. Its previous operator was Chesed v'Emes ("Charity and Truth"); the buses were stored in a surface lot near Pfizer.

Thanks for the info. Do you know anything about the routing of this bus as I caught it by accident. Also, like the former Williamsburg Trolley the sign is written in hebrew. |

I decided to visit Boro Park to see what was on the road today. 506, 507, 510, 515, 516 and 517 were on the road today. 515 is ex-Twin City Metro 2329. 516 which I rode is an ex-LYNX bus. 517 is a Gillig Advantage, I have no idea as to where it came from. It had an interior similar to this. |

Thanks!
I used to have the Williamsburg Trolley routing, but I can't find it; all I remember is that it ran part of its route on Bedford Avenue and looped in front of a small park.
Nitpick - the sign is in Yiddish, not Hebrew |

Buses 517 and 518 are now part of the Williamsburg Trolley fleet. I have no idea what happened to 512 and 514. Also, 518 is ex-Palm Tran 9910. The buses which i have seen in service recently are 504, 506-508, 510-511, 515-518. I'm guessing that 502 is also still out there too. |
