The MTA has announced public hearings, each covering a long list of topics. Go to the MTA site for the complete list:

Narrowing my interest range, I am concerned about the proposed elimination of useful Bronx bus routes. The MTA calls them low-performing.
Bx14 -- Country Club Road. A old feeder to the Interborough Pelham Bay line.
Bx20 -- Inwood, Spuyten Duyvil, Riverdale. I think this was Surface Transportation's Route 10 or 10A to connect Riverdale to the new Eighth Avenue Subway.
Bx34 -- Fordham to Katonah Avenue City Line. This was Surface Transportation's Route 4 in the 1940's or earlier. Surely, double parking and oil deliveries on Bainbridge Avenue are a pain, but it connects people with shopping and subways. Katonah Avenue will be left with downtown expresses only.

The MTA proposes elimination of the Bx4 "because it duplicates the subway." No mention that the subway duplication does not connect the same points (Westchester Square and The Hub) that the Bx4 connects. It dates back at least a hundred years. I rode it as the A car.
