Suffolk Transit "works"much better than LI Bus, even though ST has much fewer buses, they also have much fewer riders.
The MTA needs to get this takeover of LI Bus moving, because the buses are more crowded than ever. They are also breaking down and are always late.
As for Suffolk Transit, I dont think it needs an MTA takeover right now. I think the MTA has much more important things to be concerned about. |
ST is fine on its own, but like u said Piney there are very little break downs, buses are on time 99% of the time (u can never get to 100% in my opinion), and buses aren't over crowded, enless ur on the S92 (from what i heard, but never seen)
only once in my whole life, have i ever been on an over crowded ST bus, which was two weeks ago, or have i ever seen lost of ST buses late, which just happened to be the same day as the over crowded bus, or have i seen a broken down bus, which was like three years ago when i came across a broken down bus on the 7E on Mastic Road.
Suffolk Transit does not need the MTA now, or ever! |
