I was wondering, does anyone know who manufacturers the Disney parking lot trams? Happy Easter.

The Tram Man,

'Trams International' which is the largest manufacturer of such vehicles is the probable Disney contractor - however, I will have to do a bit more research to be certain.

In the meantime here's some raw facts on Disney's Trams;

Disney's Tram Service: Walt Disney World operates 28 trams with 7 cars per tram, 6 seats per car, 5-passenger capacity per seat, with a total occupancy of 210. The trams reach a total length of 171 feet with top speeds of 14 miles per hour and at a cost of one million dollars per tram.

Sorry I can't be more specific at this time.

Those trailers look a lot like the old Chance Sunliners. Chance Rides is the largest tram manufacturer of trams aren't they? I remember they had a big bus manufacturing business back in the day....

Interesting. A million bucks seems expensive for such a simple vehicle...

I wonder who built those old World's Fair Greyhound 'Glide-a-Rides', with their musical 'Go Greyhound' horns?

According to the World's Fair Community forum, the Glide-A-Rides were made by Clarke Equipment Co. of Battle Creek, a manufacturer of heavy equipment and fork lifts.
The Greyhound "Escorters" at the fair were from Kalamazoo Manufacturing.
Also, here's a link to a site with lots of photos.

How about Universal City Hollywood trams (I've heard all about Trams International myself.)?
