| I passed the Garden City Hotel today. Once again, there was a Jak Rabbit charter coach there. I think it transports the hockey team the Islanders. Any comments? |

N4 Jamaica,
The Garden City Hotel may be a 'staging' area for the team but I don't think they stay there.
If they're anything like the Rangers they probably rent houses in Nassau during the playing season and then return to their homes in Canada for the summer.
The N.Y. Rangers take up temporary residences in the East Atlantic Beach area (just west of Long Beach), and you sure know when they're in town!
They practice at a Long Beach rink and can get pretty rowdy in their off time!
But, that's hockey players!
