Even in Subway Series, the pendulum swings ever wildly without any letup. And now the Mets are back at the bottom again. Still, the "Rock-ees' " record is far worse, followed in that order by the "Ayn-jels" and the "Ay's."

I wish I could call this "yin" and "yang." But the end scores lead to one team's fans' blood pressure going through the roof.

W.B.:

IMHO, I believe MORE than a few Mets fans are going to all be sighing a collective sigh of RELIEF once the 2026 season (mercifully) comes to a close, in a few weeks.....

Heard earlier on 1010 WINS that one of the cooling towers at Yankee Stadium tested positive for Legionnars; no one has been infected (as of yet), and the tower has been disinfected.....

"Noo Yawk" baseball "nooze" for Monday.............

Man, this is getting old....... Razz

The Mets (what else?) LOST again (to"Baldy-More", while, of couese, the arrogant, smug "Boulevardiers" are poised for a victory (against the "Twinz") Sad

Sure looks like the Mets are good for only ONE "miricle" per month, these days...... Razz

"NYO"

[" Razz "]

Looks like Saturday's blaring, blazing Mets victory was nothing but a fluke Sad

You also have to wonder if the Mets were further "coyced" by the contaminated cooling tower of the "SINO."

Of course the "Boulevardiers" clubbed the "Twinz" - and to add insult to injury, managed to clinch yet another playoff berth (what, their 100th?). As if they needed another . . .

W.B.

Tight now, I am think yhat, for most battle-weary Mets fans, the approaching end of the piitiful 2026 season rapidly appoaching, andcannot come soon enough.

Actually, the past few seasons, with a few exceptional winning streaks, have been pretty mediocre for "The Amazins"............ Sad

It should be noted that, although the "Boulevardiers" took two of the last three games of their "Subway Series," the Mets scored twice as many runs (16) as the "tin men from da Bronx" (Cool altogether, despite the "boyz from Flushing" not being on the scoreboard in the last game. But you know what they say about "close" . . .

"Noo Yawk" bseball "nooze" for todau...........

Well, the "Boulevardiers" FINALLY lost; the game was a classic "squeker", and the "Twinz"won.

As for the hapless, luckless, battered Mets, they were SOUNDLY trounced at Citi Field, obceagain NO happy Metsfans going home on the # trainstonight (what else is new?_. Sad

To think, just lastweekend, the Mets were TOTALLY in control, CRUSHING their oppenents.....HAD to have been a FLUKE. Sad

From what I am hearing as of late, even the most loyal of Mets fans are getting pretty riled at the, hapless, pathetic performances of "The Boys From Flushing"..........sad, sad, sad...... Sad

Yet, even with all that, 'AYF's' are still boxed in, somewhat unable to lord it over beleaguered and embattled Mets' fans, owing to the "Boulevardiers' " own loss.

And the real kicker? "Baldy-more," which swept the Mets, is LAST in their division - though not nearly as bad as the "Rock-ees."
