Exactly, since the "Boulevardiers" were - and still are - out in "Shik-aga," home of the "Watch out for that foist step" "L's"; today thru' Sunday they play the Cubbies on the North Side.

Meanwhile, in the first phase of baseball "nooze," the "Boulevardiers" made mince-meat of the Cubbies, though the score was miniscule and the onetime "Loveable Losers" of the Windy City weren't even on the scoreboard. Funny thing is, BOTH teams now have identical records of 62-48.

Not exactly . . . the Marlins made seafood out of the Mets tonight, which combined with the "Boulevardiers' " squeaker win have the ever-insufferable and obnoxious (more so than the team itself) "AYF's" once again out with the long knives. And "My-Ammy" is doing a bit better in the standings.

In both cases tonight, the visiting teams won - but the "Boulevardiers" were the only "Noo Yawk" team to do so.

Could we,perhaps, be on the verge of another "see-saw" scenario, with the "Noo Yawk" teams? Rolling Eyes

Ironic.............

The Mets lost (again) yesterday, on the same day they celebrated the way they were back in '86.

Night and day, indeed..............

Moreover, "AYF's" are boxed in once again, being as their own team was on the losing end as well as were the Mets.

"Noo Yawk" baseball "nooze" for Sunday...........

Well, the Mets were shut out this afternoon, while the "Boulevardiers", as I type, look poised for a win.......man, this is getting STALE. Razz

Right now, you have a better chance of seeing "Blunderbuses" return to "Fifth Aven-oo", and to see El trains againon the Brooklyn Bridge, than to see the battered and bashed Mets make the post season. Razz

So much for getting a new"skipper" to turn the Mets around.............. Sad

Ahhhh, to go back to 1986......... Rolling Eyes

Once again, in both cases, the visiting teams are winners . . . though the only "Noo Yawk" team, of course, that won today were the showboating "Boulevardiers."
