Sad to say, since "Noo Yawk" is beset by rains, tonight's Mets game is cancelled, and will be played tomorrow as part of a day/night doubleheader.
Which of course, leaves the "Boulevardiers" out in 'Shik-aga" this week. |

See the post just before yours; I had already posted notice of this!
Let's hope that, tommorrow, the Mets will again bring out the "big guns" and clobber the Braves......

| Meanwhile, in "Shik-aga," the "Boulevardiers" won in a "squeaker" against the Sox, with that team's fans far from gruntled as they filed out of Rate Field onto the "See-Tee-Yay's" Red Line. |

At least, the "Boylevardiers" only won by a "squeaker", nothing like the Mets' stellar performance Monday night......

| The Mets won their first game of a doubleheader against the Braves, albeit in a "squeaker." They have another game tonight, commencing 30 minutes before the "Boulevardiers" play their next game against the "Sox" in "Shik-aga." Whatever happens, "AYF's" will be at least partly boxed-in again. |

I was just getting ready to post this "nooze"....indeed, the game was a xlassic "squeaker", but, hey, a WIN isa WIN....and the "AFYs" sure ain't liking this!

The second Mets/Braves game was a "squeaker," only the sometime "Amazin's" this time weren't on the scoreboard. Thus the doubleheader was a split.
Meanwhile, in "Shik-aga," at this point the "Boulevardiers" are tied up with the "Sox." Pray . . . |

| Whatever goes down with the Mets tonight, "AYF's" will once again have no leg to stand on, as their beloved (and insufferable) "Boulevardiers" lost again to the "Sox" in an 11-inning "squeaker." |

Thanks for this "nooze"; forgot that the "Boulevardiers" were playing an early game in "Shik-aga"; VERY HAPPY "Sox" fans going home on the "See-Tee-Yay", for sure........

"Boiling point".........
Seeing as the "Boulevardiers"have lost (again) and the Mets have now won four out of five of their last games, it is no wonder that news footage show a "soitan" Mr. Boone who CLEARLY was MORE than a wee bit hot under the collar.....(!!)
The thrill of victory......the agony of defeat.....

In the case of both games, the home team won. |
