Sure looks like, without a doubt, that the "SS" ("Squeaker Syndrome" ) has been running rampant with "Noo Yawk"-area sports teams this season..... Rolling Eyes

Well, last night "doze RAIN-jers from da Garden" won on "da road" (so Mr. Fischler can once again put away the Maalox), but the "EYE-landers" and "doze Nets" both lost. Yet another mixed bag in the "Noo Yawk" area sports scene.

Meanwhile, "doze Devils from Joisey" won again, and tonight the "RAIN-jers" and the "EYE-landers" face off for the "foist" time this season.

I STILL believe the "Great Unseen Spirit" of the late, great "Pe-Es-En-Jay" is still a most formidable force. in regards to "doze Devils" current winning streak.......... Wink

So today, the Jets (who were more like the "Sputtering Propellers" of late) won whilst the once-"Giants" (more like Lilliputians) lost. And - with the cartoon "Globetrotters" cheering them on - "doze Ka-nikker-bockers" made mince meat of the Washington Generals - er, Brooklyn Nets at "da Garden."

Oh, and last night the "RAIN-jers" were shut out by the "EYE-landers."

And the "RAIN-jers" won yet again (much, no doubt, to the delight of a certain Mr. Fischler), whilst the "EYE-landers" beat the "Joisey" Devils. Yep. Another see-saw in "Noo Yawk" area hockey.

Let's see how "doze Netz" and "doze Ka-nikker-bockers" fare in their respective games tonight.

W.B.:

Indeed strange how the always-unpredictable "SSS" (See-Saw Syndrome") has been strongly affecting ALL facets of "Noo Yawk" sports, the past few years....(!!) Shocked

Oh, and yep . . . when "doze Ka-nikker-bockers" play at "da Garden," they clearly have the "protection" of "doze cartoon Globetrotters," as they won yet again; naturally "doze Nets" lost . . .

Guess you could say that the "Kan-ikker-bokkers" were indeed quite "animated" last evening....(!!) Wink

Meanwhile, in hockey "nooze," the "RAIN-jers" won decisively (no doubt for another day Mr. Fischler can lay off the Maalox), and "doze Devils from Joisey" won in a "squeaker" (wonder who's in their cheering section - Jerry from Tom and Jerry?).

W,B.:

Indeed heartening that Mr. Fischler can (again!) go easy on the Maalox, at least for the moment! Wink

If there IS a "Jerry" rooting for "doze Devils from Joisey", I would think it would be the spirit of the late, great Jerry Lewis, who was born in Newark, then the pulsating heart of the vast "Pee-Es" empire............ Very Happy

Meanwhile, last night "doze Ka-nikker-bockers' " home winning streak was snapped by "Or-LAND-oh." Seesaw, indeed.

Indeed, "Noo Yawk" sports, performance-wise, is indeed a true "borgaschmord", to say the VERY, least, especially in regards to the past several seasons....... Rolling Eyes
