1964......................
The bustling 69th Street Ferry to St. George (a seven bpat operation) was shut down (IMHO, a VERY shortsighted move) in November.
Earlier that year, the famed HUDSON RIVER DAY LINE abandoned service to the piers at W. 125th Street, Yonkers, and Poughkeepsie..............
