As an example.........
Back in 1975, we see what was once an everyday scene at the "BERGEN AVENUE's" old garage in lower Jersey City, back when Old Looks were still pretty much holding down the fort.
In the left background, note the NHBL Old Look; the NHBL ran right by our old apartment building in Union City, when I was but a lad!)

Indeed I DID grow up in "bus heaven", and its epicenter was Journal Square!
With a steady parade of NHBL buses (and INTER-CITY) passing by our old apartment building, it is small wonder that, according to Mom, I "got into" buses well before my first birthday!
Indeed, those WERE the days, my friend!
