I was wondering about re-powering a Fishbowl bus with a new Cummins. I have heard that it is very expensive to make even a small change to the engine cradle. I do not know why. It would seem that a weld here and a cut there and you'd have a new engine that is viable for the current times. I'm also betting that the new engine would be lighter and smaller. I would bet a larger radiator would be the only other change needed. |
