I'm no maven when it comes to trolley cars so my information about the attached image is only what I could cull from the caption that accompanied it and I thought it would be of interest to my Philadelphia colleagues.
Shown in an image taken in 1958 at a Philadelphia scrap yard (probably waiting for shipment to Luria Brothers Iron and Steel for torching - my great uncle Max's specialty) are about forty of what are said to have been Peter Witt cars numbered in the 8000's by the Philadelphia Transportation Company.
That's about it! (comments welcome).
