My son and I had an opportunity to visit some of the Connecticut transit operations on July 17th - here is a sample of the photos I took that day (click on any of the images to see a larger version):

Darien - at the Metro-North station:

Norwalk - the Wheels Hub:

Bridgeport Intermodal Transportation Center:

Milford Transit District New Flyer #326 was one of the buses on the Coastal Link service, complete with logos:

Train service on the Waterbury branch was out due to construction, so these two CT Transit MCI coaches were filling in:

New Haven Green:

Waterbury Green:

Hartford:

We were hoping to see one of the New Flyer low-floor suburban buses, and CT Transit did not disappoint:

CT Transit RTS #C155 (operated by DATTCO) showed up on the 41 route from New Britain, still signed up as a route P bus:

The STAR Shuttle featured a couple of CT Transit's oddball buses:

Enjoy!

Awesome Pics! The 7xx Express are interesting on the outside, but it feels like a one door New Flyer and thats it. Maybe it is because almost all CT Transit buses have cushion seats. Also, Big Beluga (701) should be seeing his newborn siblings anyday now. Can't wait for them.

Nice pictures, Jim! It looks like you covered a lot of territory in one day, and the resulting pictures were well worth the trip. I was glad to see that you captured the D4500's outside of their normal habitat. The trains are now running again on the Waterbury branch, so the coaches are no longer around.
