Pictured below is fleet # 113 - a 1937 Mack Model 6-CT-3S (ser# 1248) and one of 30 (101 to 130) originally delivered to the Manhattan and Queens Bus Corporation of Long Island City, New York in December of 1936.
This coach has a very interesting history in that it along with its siblings and its company were acquired by Green Bus Lines of Jamaica, NY in 1943 and continued to operate under the Manhattan and Queens name servicing its sole route between Jamaica and Manhattan until 1947 when all M & Q equipment began to carry the parent company flag.
Still carrying it original fleet number, 113 along with a number of other Green Line CT's were transferred to the Jamaica Buses subsidiary in the late fifties and ran well into the early sixties.
The 35 passenger Mack CT's were tough little heavy duty buses and, with a complement totalling 100, served as Green Line's backbone through the war years.
