Had PSNH replaced streetcars wiith ASVs in the CitySubway, chances are that, at some pont, the 4509s would have been replaced by Fishbowl-type ASVs.l

Would they have a/c?

Remember, that had ASVs come to the Subway, they also would have operated on the old subway-surface lines as well..................
