Mets "nooze" for Saturday.........

Well, as the "Amazins' " just CRUSHED the Marlins,it's safe to say that the #7 trains are crowded with smiling Mets fans heading home,, this evening! Very Happy

That the Mets have now won THREE GAMES in a row now is indeed "AMAZIN''! Wink

And "AYF's" are far from gruntled, evidently . . . especially compounded by the Mets' win, "oilier" in the day . . .

And with that win, the Mets climbed out of the cellar - and the Marlins now occupy that spot.

And yeah, I saw the scoreboard out in wherever the Athletics are.

Final Sunday "baseball nooze" edition . . .

The Athletics put up an atom of a fight towards the end, but the smug, arrogant, obnoxious "Boulevardiers from da Bronx" won yet again. At least the equally smug and obnoxious "AYF's" are boxed in, owing to the Mets' uber-decisive win earlier in the day.

And in "udder nooze," the "Ka-nicker-bockers" will be playing the "San An-Tone" Spurs starting Wednesday in the "En-Bee-Yay" finals.

Monday's "baseball nooze" . . .

Doze "Boulevardiers from da Bronx" were off, but the smug, obnoxious "AYF's" still went off like the proverbial bull after a red flag was waved, as the Mets fell to, and in, "See-Addle."

W.B.:

Yeah, I, too, was hoping that the Amazins' were going to make it five straight; winds;and, without a doubt,, with the veggance level amognst the "AYF" brigade grows even more powerful, with each victory. Sad

As for doze "Kan-ikker-bockers", ya gotta hope that the "positive power"of doze "animated Gllobetrotters" (the "AG s") will be courtside every game night.....a LOT of gas is riding on these guys.....

Tonight, whatever happens in the Mets/Mariners game, "AYF's" balloon has been deflated several notches, as "doze Boulevardiers from da Bronx" lost on their home "toif" to "Kleave-land." "The Judge" had a bone bruise around the rib cage so he was out. Notice you never hear any "Allriiiiiise's" that much anymore . . .

Moreover, I saw this evergreen quote from an X user:
"Nothing cleanses the soul like thrashing the New York Yankees."
Amen to THAT.

Funny, that's what I was saying . . . far from "gruntled" . . .

And the "Boulevardiers" have fallen to 3-9 against teams with records of .500 or better. "Soives" them right.

W.B.:

I don't think any of us "purists" mind trashing today's Yankees, as they are light-years removed from the era of REAL players, larger-than-life legends that still stand tall today, in the memories of many.

It is TOTALLY impossible to link today's arrogant "Boulvardiers From Da Bronx" with the "IRON MEN" of 60, 70, 80, 90 years ago,

Heck, these guys were LEGENDS, and didn't even KNOW it!

And WHERE could find a player today that would deem himself "the luckiest man on the face on the earth" when he was diagnosed with a fatal illness?

NONE of today's players could even hope to approach the legendary status of the "Iron Men"pf old.....

Speaking of "tin men" . . . the Mets just lost another one in "See-Addle." Yet with the "Boulevardiers' " loss earlier, "AYF's" are at this point in no position to "lord it over" . . .
