What a difference a day makes, as the song says . . .

The stuck-up "Boulevardiers from da Bronx" won in a "squeaker" yet again (no doubt requiring the "soivices" of "Uncle Hoiman" and "Katnip" once more), whilst in "Dee-See" the 'AINO's" lost to the Nationals. "Katnip" for 'AYF's', no doubt, to once more "rub it in."

Oh, and last night "doze Ka-nicker-bockers" won again, no doubt with more than a little help from the animated "Globetrotters" behind the scenes.

Last night, BOTH "Noo Yawk" baseball teams LOST. Which no doubt stymied the "AYF's."

Once again the worm turns . . . and Mr. Met has reason to smile once more . . . winning in "Dee-See's" home "toif."

Now to see how "doze Boulevardiers from da Bronx" do tonight in "da Bronx" against "doze Bloo Jayz." Likewise with "doze Ka-nicker-bockers."

It was a "squeaker" indeed for the Mets, but AT LEAST they were the victors! Wink

Notice how the Mets ALWAYS look better when they WIN, while the "Boulevardiers From Da Bronx" LOSE?? Shocked Wink

No happy "Boulevardiers" fans headin' home on the "4" and "D" trains this evening.....their boys were NOT even on the scoreboard(!!) Sad

And no doubt "doze Ka-nicker-bockers" had help behind the scenes from the animated "Globetrotters," as they won big last night in their latest round against "Kleave-land." Now leading 2 games to zip.

Yep, last night the "Boulevardiers" were the odd ones out, in the "Noo Yawk" sports scene.

W.B.:

I am quite sure that the "AYF" brigade was NOT at all pleased that their beloved "Boulevardiers" were both scoreless and left out in the cold, last night......allthe more reason for ol' "Mr.Met" to be smiling! Wink

As for the "Kan-ikkker-bolers", it's quite clear that the "animated Globetrotters" were MORE than "woikin' ;overtime", enthusiastically cheering them on to yet another victory......they are indeed runnong HOT, for sure! Very Happy
