"Noo Yawk" sports "nooze" for Friday:
Well, the "Kan-ikker-bokkers" (looks like the animated Globetrotters are REALLY workin' overtime!) WON yet again! ("Noo Yawk" sandwich shops have been having a HUGE field day "re-inventing" the Philly Cheese Steaks!)  
As for doze arrogant "Boulvardiers From da Bronx", well, they weren't even on the scoreboard!!!!
Meanwhile, the "Amazins" WON.....which, of course, translates into only ONE "Noo Uawk" team losing last evening......guess which one........

Just worth a mention........
Interesting that both the "Boulevardiers From Da Bronx" ("YINOs") and "The Amazins' "are both out of town this weekend.
Next weekend is the "Subway Series"; sure hoping that the Mets will fare well, otherwise, the ever-eising arrogance level of the "AYF" brigade will increase to previouslu-inheard of levels.......

So far, no good . . . at least, though, 'AYF's' will be denied any chance of rubbing it all in. As for that squeaker, it was "lather, rinse, repeat" as the score was exactly as yesterday.
Meanwhile, pray for the "Ka-nicker-bockers." They're currently shellacking Philly - and it's only the 3d quarter. Hope the animated "Globetrotters" remain through thick and . . . and the "Nicks" make it further along . . . |

Just "hoid" from Ryan Field on Eyewitness News that the "Kan-kker-bokkers" SWEPT Philly, to the unbridled delight of "Noo Yawk" sandwich shop owners and sports fans! 
Looks like those "animated Globetrotters"more that "woiked" overtime, as of late! 
My late best bud from work, Jim, was a DIE-HARD "Knickerbocker" fan from the late 1950s onwards (he attended many a game at both "Gardens", back in the day....he'd indeed be in a VERY celebratory mood, today, for "soitan"!)

FRONT and BACK page coverage in today's Daily "Nooze" and the"Noo Yawk" POST; 1010 WINS anchors have been having afield day, of, course:
"Man, how about those Knickerbockers? They're UNSTOPPABLE!"
"Philly, we hardly knew ye!"
Meanwhile, "Noo Yawk" sandwich shops have been doing a VERY brisk trade, "re-inventing" the Philly Cheese Steak!
Yeah ,those "animated Globetrotters: have REALLY been "woikin' " overtime, as of late! (Empire State Building was all aglowt in Knick scolors, last night....QUITE impressive!)

Moreover, the "YINO's" have fallen to 2d place. And the "AINO's" are also at this point on the losing end, behind "Dee-Troit." Which brings us all back to the point I made about both teams winning OR losing in one day. |
